Dublin Honey Project

I shot and edited this video for the Dublin Honey Project, featuring my friend Gearóid Carvill as he guides viewers through a beehive setup and explains the initiative.

The piece captures the hands-on process of urban beekeeping—close-ups of frames, bees at work, hive inspections, and Gearóid's passion for producing local, postcode-specific raw honey across Dublin.

Filmed on location at one of the project's apiaries (rooftop or urban site), the video blends educational storytelling with natural visuals: gentle pacing, macro shots of bees/honeycomb, and Gearóid's insights on sustainability, craft, and bringing nature back into the city. It's warm, informative, and engaging—designed to inspire interest in urban beekeeping and the project's goal of a hive in every Dublin postcode.
