Concept:
Inspired by the Rapa Nui people of Easter Island (Rapa Nui) and their moai statues—how a society poured all its resources into monumental creations, ultimately leading to ecological strain. The parallel draws to modern Ireland: tower stations and fossil-fuel infrastructure as our own "moai", symbols of progress built at the cost of finite resources.

Visual Piece:
I created a site-specific visual artwork for the EP, shown at Clonmel Arts Festival. The piece used projection, light, and subtle motion to evoke the moai's silent presence and the weight of resource use—blending ancient island imagery with contemporary Irish power infrastructure in a quiet, haunting way.Photography

Book:
With my friend Ricardo Kump (Brazilian photographer), we produced a limited photography book. We travelled the south of Ireland photographing electricity pylons, wind turbines, and other tower stations—framing them as modern equivalents to the moai: imposing, solitary, and built from the land's resources. The images are stark, almost sculptural, letting the parallel emerge without words. The EP, visual piece, and book together form a quiet meditation on creation, cost, and what we leave behind.
