LeCool

A few years back, myself and Mick Minogue teamed up for a proper silly project: fake 1980s-style action figure TV adverts starring the two LeCool owners, Michael and Ciaran, as the action heroes of their own ridiculous universe.

We leaned hard into the retro cheese—over-the-top voiceovers, dramatic zooms, explosions of motion graphics, toy-box packaging shots, and every classic 80s commercial cliché we could cram in. The whole thing was built around glorifying Michael & Ciaran as larger-than-life action figures, complete with ridiculous accessories, catchphrases, and a barrage of shiny, glowing motion graphics to sell the fantasy.
It was pure fun, made to surprise and delight the LeCool crew and their audience—short, punchy, and very 80s in the best/worst way.
