Recycle City
Re-City
2024
Lighting, Visuals, Director
A tabletop sculpture made entirely from household recycling—milk cartons, tea boxes, cereal packets, cardboard scraps, and whatever else was around the house—all glued together into a seemingly chaotic pile.
But shine a torch from one very specific spot, and the shadows cast on the wall behind form a perfect city skyline: towers, rooftops, the lot.
The mess becomes architecture; the rubbish becomes skyline. It’s a quiet comment on waste, perception, and hidden beauty—everything you need is already in the room, you just have to look at it the right way.
